The Radio Warneford Easter Egg Tombola
Radio Warneford, the award-winning hospital radio service for South Warwickshire, will be holding its first fund raising event of 2015 this coming weekend. Our Easter Egg Tombola will be taking place at the Tesco store on Emscote Road in Warwick during Saturday 21st March.
Shoppers at Tesco will have the chance to win a fantastic egg for Easter. Tickets cost just 25p each or four for £1. That's four great chances to win a prize! Just pick a ticket that ends with a "0" or a "5" and you will be one of our lucky winners!
During the day you will be able to find out all about Radio Warneford and what's involved in being part of one of our volunteer teams. Some of our members will be on hand to answer questions and help you decide if you would like to become a hospital radio volunteer. Stop by and find yourself a brand new hobby!
Radio Warneford relies entirely on public donations in order to operate its service. All proceeds from the Easter Egg Tombola will be used to maintain and improve the radio service that Radio Warneford's volunteer members provide for patients at Warwick Hospital.
Caroline McCluskey, Radio Warneford's Fund Raising Coordinator, says "We are very pleased to be holding our 2015 Easter Tombola at Tesco in Warwick. The store has given Radio Warneford fantastic support over recent years. We are looking forward to meeting Tesco's Saturday shoppers to tell them about the work we do - and of course they have the chance to win an egg for Easter and help Radio Warneford in the process!"
Our Easter Eggs have been very kindly donated by various local organisations as well as by Radio Warneford's members.
Come along, be a winner and become a volunteer with Radio Warneford! We look forward to seeing you on Saturday 21st March.
